REVIEW: The thing about anthologies like this is that when they’re all the same trope, and you love the trope, you know you’re going to enjoy all of the stories! On top of that, you get to discover new authors who write that trope, or revisit the worlds of your favorite authors. I had so much fun reading this book! When I first read Rebecca Jenshak’s story, it just made me so happy to be back in her Smart Jock’s world. Seeing the characters that I loved from that series as side characters, had me completely invested. All of these authors brought their own style to this trope and I really enjoyed seeing how they would write it. I definitely recommend this one to my fellow romance readers.

4.5 STARS Release Date: June 9, 2021 SYNOPSIS: When the person you blame for your grief is the only one who can save you from the pain… Tank Wicked lost his sister and has since vowed to save everyone else in his path. He lives by the creed of the Dark Knights motorcycle club, sworn to protect and respect his community. He selflessly saves lives as a volunteer firefighter and treats the men and women who work for him at his tattoo shop like family. But life isn’t a balance scale where good deeds negate bad things to come, and one foggy night life guts Tank once again. When a car careens over the side of a bridge and into a river, Tank springs into action, plunging into the water to rescue the passengers. Four people go into the river, but only three come out alive. Leah Yates is just trying to make it through each day. When the man she blames for her grief becomes the only one who can pull her from the depths of despair, she discovers that even hope comes at a price. Maybe this time she won’t have to face it alone.
The THE WICKED AFTERMATH is an emotionally gripping story of love, loss, and hope, with a rich and entrancing happily ever after. Set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, the Wickeds feature fiercely protective heroes, strong heroines, and unbreakable family bonds. If you think bikers are all the same, you haven’t met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. Some of the Wickeds’ love stories will be hilariously fun and deeply emotional, others will tear at your heartstrings and include injections of humor, but they will all leave you wishing you could climb between the pages and join them. All Wicked novels may be enjoyed as standalone romances.
REVIEW: This book was just so heartwarming and sweet! Tank is definitely a new book boyfriend. Something that really adds to the story are the different family dynamics between Leah and her small family, and the large Wicked clan. There’s just so much love and caring within them. The quirky little things make you really excited to learn about all of the characters. The connection between these two is so touching. I loved seeing Tank with Leah, but also with the girls! This book illustrates grief as a process. It’s interesting that it is grief that really connects both Tank and Leah. Overall, I really like the growth of the relationship and I loved seeing the small family that they formed! Also, the cover is hot as hell and I will definitely need to own a physical copy!

It probably doesn’t matter though because Nora hates me. If you ever wondered, it is possible to live and work with someone in a small town and not speak to said person for months. That’s how long Nora ignores me after I tell her commitment isn’t for me. I didn’t know I was already in love with her. I didn’t know I was breaking my own heart by telling myself it was too complicated to fall for my best friend’s sister. All I want now is to find the way back to us.
What to Expect ✔️ A broody ex-military pilot ✔️ Best friend’s sister ✔️ Off limits ✔️ Frenemies to lovers ✔️ Hate to love ✔️ Second chance
REVIEW: This is just such an adorable series, every book has made me smile I love how the characters are connected through this small town Alaska and piloting. The previous book, Evers & Afters, was adorable, and I love how Cami’s coffee makes an appearance in this one as well. I seriously want a cup! Before this book we get little glimpses of the connection between Nora and Gabriel, and I knew I was going to enjoy their story. They started off as friends with benefits, until Gabriel put an end to all that, being anti-commitment. These two are scared and trying to protect themselves, but man did Gabriel win me over right in the beginning. I really was rooting for him to win Nora over and their chemistry was so hot! This book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend the other stories too!

Friends With Benedicts is AVAILABLE NOW! Are you ready for the perfect summer romantic comedy? It has everything from wicked banter to steamy steam to angst like only Staci Hart can bring.
REVIEW: This was very, very cute! There were a lot of layers to this story with the town, the characters, and everything they’ve dealt with over the years. Presley and Sebastian definitely handled coming back together fairly well with all the things considered. There was so much between them, and they definitely started to have miscommunications. When everyone’s telling them just to be honest and communicate with each other, and yet they don’t out of fear for what could possibly happen–it was pretty damn realistic. I really liked these two, and I really wanted to see them get their happy ever after! Especially after all the years they come together and then had to split apart. Cilla was absolutely adorable and a fun part of the story. It seems like we might be getting some stories about the Blums. I really do hope so, because they sound like a ton of fun! I definitely recommend you pick up this one!

REVIEW: Another great charity anthology! This one has a ton of fun novelettes that cover a ton of popular tropes. I think what I love about these are that you get to visit the worlds of these authors. I was especially happy to visit Lake Starlight and get Liam’s fellow tattooer’s love story. Moose and Regan were a good short, and I just love the Bailey’s connection. Just think, that’s only one of 14 short stories you get with this one.

SYNOPSIS: Willow – After being left for dead, I was given a fresh start by my knight in shining armor. My protector. I never had a family before they took me in. But I don’t know how to stay or trust. I always had a bag packed and ready just in case I needed to escape again. Like they say, old habits die hard. Being in the shadows is lonely, but lonely is safe.
Quinn – I was the quiet one, the one who stood in the back and watched things unfold. The cowboy who only cared about his horses instead of the glory. Until I found her fighting for her life. Something inside me shifted, and I couldn’t stop it. I couldn’t stop protecting her. I fell in love with her with one look because she was my soul mate. Even though I knew I couldn’t make her stay.
The is the sixth book in Natasha Madison’s romantic suspense –> The Southern Series!
REVIEW: I was really excited about getting Casey’s son’s story. Quinn played an interesting part in the last book, Southern Heart, which made me really intrigued to see who he fell for and how it happened. This was an interesting take on insta-love and I enjoyed reading about these two coming together. This one is definitely a slow burn so be ready for that. Willow has been through so much trauma and I think I appreciated how Quinn supported her. It was just really sweet!

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
SYNOPSIS: I’m Jake Masterson, single dad, and the General Manager of Seattle’s NHL team. I walked away from a career as a player so I could raise my daughter. For the last twenty-plus years, Queenie has been my main priority, but now she’s getting married. And there’s a small complication. A beautiful, sexy complication named Hanna.
She’s my son-in-law’s older sister. Or at least that’s how they were raised. The truth is a little more scandalous than that. I’ve been drawn to her from the moment I laid eyes on her. And I spent months trying to keep a lid on that attraction. Until we finally give in. It starts with one searing kiss, but quickly ends with us between the sheets—and in the shower, and the hot tub, you get the picture—and turns into months of sneaking around. Here’s the problem: we live on opposite ends of the country. It can’t be anything but casual. And as I’ve already said…it’s complicated. But when Hanna finds out she’s pregnant…suddenly things get real serious.
This is Book 4 in the All In Series!
REVIEW: I’ve have really loved this series! The fact that these standalones are interconnected adds to each story in the best way. Getting to meet characters before we get their stories always makes me more invested in them. After the last book, A Secret for a Secret, it was really neat to see King and Queenie play such a big part in this story. This one was definitely an emotional roller coaster. Hannah and Jake are just so interesting and the situation is just not what I was expecting. Hannah has had a really rough road. It was really interesting getting her full backstory after meeting her and finding out the shocking news about her in the previous book. These two together are so great in the beginning, but get some stuff thrown their way and it’s a damn experience for them. Overall, this was not quite what I was expecting, but it was definitely a good journey for the characters. This one, and Little Lies, are both heavy on the angst and I feel like that makes sense with her writing them during the pandemic. Something Helena hunting does a great job at is writing a group of people that become one big family, whether they’re related or not. I think the ending of this book made me so happy, because of all of the characters from the series show just what it means to be a family!

SYNOPSIS: Georgia – I’m surrounded by love, yet have no one to call my own. But then Chase, my new roommate, is suddenly there. He could be the perfect guy for me, if he wasn’t nursing a broken heart. The more time I waste looking for love, the more I realize that what I want has been right in front of me all along. Falling for Chase is the easiest thing I’ve ever done, but fighting for him is the hardest. Because his past isn’t finished with him— not even close.
Chase – Love finds you when you least expect it. I was only looking for a place to crash after having my heart ripped out, instead I found someone who turned my world upside down. A girl like Georgia was looking for happily ever after, and so far my life had been anything but a fairytale. I can walk into a burning building without thinking twice, but the spark I feel with her scares the hell out of me. I can’t keep watching her look for someone else—not when I’m falling for her. Just when everything starts to fall into place, I’m reminded just how messy and imperfect life can be. When the smoke clears, it’s Georgia by my side. Life might not be perfect— but our love could be.
This roommates to lovers, single dad romance is book three in Nikki Ash’s emotional Finding Love Series!
REVIEW: We meet both of these characters in the previous book, and so I kind of thought I knew how their story would go, but I was pleasantly surprised by how different it went! The beginning of their relationship was perfection. I really loved how Chase and Georgia acted while around each other. The way Chase treats her as they got closer, was freakin’ adorable. Honestly, the way the relationship grew made me so happy. Their friendship was just so heartwarming. In true Nikki Ash fashion, the dramatic scenes may have caused a gasp or two. There is this part that’s just so true to human nature, where one of the characters takes out their own issues on the other while struggling with a horrific situation. I hated it and loved it, because it felt so real. And I think the aftermath of that horrible blowup was handled really well. The realness in this one just worked for me. It was also really cute seeing characters from the previous books in the epilogue! The on-going joke about Lexi’s cooking is still hilarious. If you’re looking for romances that pull at the heartstrings, this is the series you’re looking for!

Sure, it can get lonely, but I’m literally living everyone’s best life and loving every second of it. Until I’m hired for a job in Brigs Ferry Bay, Maine, where I meet a local diner owner, Fernando. One steamy night together turns into two, and two… turns into a week of bliss. Our instant connection leaves me questioning my motives for why I do what I do. Am I replacing meaningful relationships with the approval of strangers? And why can’t I get Fernando out of my head?
Fernando – Tourist season in Brigs Ferry Bay is the best season when your number one rule is to not sleep with the locals. Small towns get six degrees of incestuous if you’re not careful. So when a sexy travel blogger with a nerdy vibe struts into my diner, I call dibs. He’s the perfect distraction from the dumpster fire that is my life right now, since Pops was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I didn’t expect to actually like the guy or miss him after he went on his way. But I do, and I can’t stop the intrusive thoughts telling me what we have is more than lust. Now my biggest problem is convincing a wanderer to stay in one place with me. I’m the cat, he’s the mouse. Game on.
Brigs Ferry Bay is a steamy MM romance series. While each book can be read as a standalone, in order to get the full experience, they’re best read in order. Enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, hurt comfort, age-gap romance, and so much more. Fall in love with the charming small-town gay romances of Brigs Ferry Bay…
Review: I’m really enjoying the Briggs Ferry Bay series, because all of the characters have so much depth. There’s so much going on in their lives that impact them. I love seeing the characters from each book pop up in the different books. I also like that I feel a lot of emotion and am completely invested in how these characters will find their happy ever after! every single one definitely deserves that HEA! Leif was such an interesting character with how he handled what happened to him and how successful he became. I really enjoyed the fact that him and Fernando just clicked in their connection. The chemistry was steamy! Fernando is so wonderful, he does so much for everyone else, and it makes him extremely endearing. The way these to go back-and-forth, and yet show up for each other, is really heartwarming. The end of this book and the end of Callan’s Atlas made me so freaking excited for the next books in the series. I cannot wait for Zac’s story from K Webster and Ricky’s story from Misty Walker!

SYNOPSIS: I thought proving myself worthy of her love would be the hard part. If only… When I left my childhood small town, I had a lot to prove. Now, I have a lot to fix. Namely, my relationship with my best friends’ little sister. We were just kids when I rejected Terra. Even then, I knew I was nowhere near good enough for her. I was sure I’d eventually forget her. But a decade later, working as a firefighter, the one flame I can’t put out is the one I hold for her. So I’m back in Ocean Pines, but Terra’s moved on with someone who doesn’t have my history of bad decisions and impulsive behavior. And as if all that wasn’t enough, she’s sick. I’ll give her a kidney, my heart, the last breath in my lungs…anything she wants. I’ll do anything to save her life, even if it means watching her live it without me.
The Fall We Fell, book one in the Ocean Pines series, is a sexy, angsty, friends-to-lovers contemporary romance featuring a firefighter who’ll do anything to win the smart, strong heroine of his dreams. Happily ever after and no cheating guaranteed.
REVIEW: Holy bad decisions. This one was a damn emotional roller coaster. I just love Second Chance Romances so much. And it’s funny, because ones that start when they’re teenagers usually make me want to smack both the characters for a variety of reasons. The main one being that the teenage decisions usually cause the characters so much grief that could have been avoided. This one definitely starts off like that, so I really wanted to get to the second half. I just knew all the goodness was coming! It was definitely a journey for both of these characters. I felt all the emotions, because there was a lot going on. By the end of the book, I was ecstatic for these two and their story left me with a smile. Victoria did exactly what she needed to do with this book. I really like her writing and the way she brings a lot of different elements to the story that challenge the characters and show their growth. I would really like to see more about some of the characters in this book! I don’t know if she has a plan for that yet, but I would be here for it! As I learned more about this family, I totally fell for them!
Victoria’s debut novel, One More Shot, was released June 2, 2015. Between 2015 and 2019 she has had 10 novels published with Forever (Hachette) in two standalone series – The Hometown Players and The San Francisco Thunder. Victoria’s love of books began at 12 when she picked up her first Sweet Valley High and grew from there. Her favorite childhood gift remains the 1930s typewriter her parents found at a garage sale which actually wasn’t a gift for her. It was meant to be a display piece in their front hall but Victoria snuck it into her bedroom and it was on that typewriter she first began pounding out her own stories. When not writing books Victoria can usually be found on a beach somewhere. Her favorite beaches are La Concha in San Sebastian, Spain, Zuma Beach in Malibu California and Ocean Park, Maine.
