SYNOPSIS: When Dillion Stitch left her hometown, she had no intention of going back. But when her brother gets into trouble, Dillion reluctantly agrees to return home to take her place at the family business. Being back in Pearl Lake after all these years feels familiar, but also brings a few surprises. She’s quick to notice that someone new has shown up at the cottage next door. Dillion gets more than an eyeful when she goes to check out the newcomer and meets Donovan “Van” Firestone—her beloved neighbor’s grandson—in all his unclothed glory. Having gotten off to a rocky start, it’s not long before they begin bickering with each other all over town. All that back and forth inevitably sparks an undeniable attraction. But Dillion’s family has issues, Van’s family resents him, and neither Dillion nor Van feels truly at ease in the small town. For these Pearl Lake exiles, home isn’t just where the heart is—it’s where things get complicated.
Love Next Door, an all-new sweet and endearing romance from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting is now live!
REVIEW: This is a new small town romance from Helena Hunting. Dillon is back in Pearl Lake, not necessarily by choice and Donovan has his own reason for being there. What I love about small town romances is very real in this one. The towns people themselves are like a character, one that’s always in your business and usually adding to your issues, but also giving that sense of community. Dillon and Donovan were okay, but I appreciate their open communication and support of one another once they got past their rough start. Overall, this book is for the reader looking for a small town romance with a lot going on.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of PUCKED, Helena Hunting lives on the outskirts of Toronto with her incredibly tolerant family and two moderately intolerant cats. She writes contemporary romance ranging from new adult angst to romantic sports comedy.
SYNOPSIS: I didn’t have a lot, but what I had I was proud of. I was raised to keep my head down and work hard. I followed the rules, rarely straying off the straight and narrow path. That’s why when the opportunity to get wild and have a little fun presented itself, I jumped on it—or more like on him. The handsome cowboy from the bar. It was one night in Vegas. Afterward, all I had was the memory of his body pressed to mine and the hotel room key I swiped as I snuck out. I never expected to see him again. I definitely never imagined he’d show up in my small hometown seven years later, only to discover the daughter he never knew about.
REVIEW: I found Melissa Ellen with the last book in this series, Tempting Tim, which I seriously enjoyed. When I saw this one was a single mom and small town romance, I knew I would be interested. Then I found out that they have a one-night stand, that leaves Melanie with a secret baby!? Yes, sign me up! And I really did enjoy this author’s story of Nash and Melanie. I enjoyed seeing them navigate the family dynamics seven years later. I mean what a surprise for Nash when he walked in that bar. I definitely would recommend this entire series!

I’m an indie author that focuses on contemporary romance with a little bit of everything: humor, angst and sometimes suspense. A Reason To Stay, book one of the Blackwood Series, was my debut novel.
I grew up as a book worm, reading anything and everything and still try to read at least a book a week. I’ve always had an active imagination. Luckily, I now have time to put it to good use writing about characters that are constantly swarming around in my head.
I went from designing buildings to crafting stories. I’m a creative entrepreneur and coffee connoisseur.
SYNOPSIS: Amelia – Never make the same mistake twice is my motto. After being left in the dust of an old pickup truck, I promised that I would take care of myself and never trust another man with a sexy smirk and cowboy boots. Then he showed up, and he’s everywhere I turn. He’s at the barn, he’s at the bar, and now, he’s my roommate. He makes me want things I shouldn’t. Asher – I grew up in foster care, and on my eighteenth birthday, I was set free. I spent years coasting from town to town. Staying wasn’t a part of my plan and neither was love, especially with someone off limits. This was all supposed to be temporary. I’m just hoping my secret doesn’t destroy the only family I’ve ever known.
Buried secrets are never buried for long. The is the seventh book in Natasha Madison’s Southern Series!
REVIEW: Another emotional twisty romance to add to the Southern Series!! Asher is such a great male lead, he is deeply impacted by his past experiences, but a whole lot of wonderful. I love how he is willing t work so hard to get his girl. In true Natasha Madison fashion, there is lots of chemistry and love between the main characters, but also a lot of big issues that are here to cause them problems. This whole series is perfect for readers that like some action and drama with their romance!

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
SYNOPSIS: I never thought I’d say yes to a fake date. Let alone with Julian Wright. But I’m stuck attending my perfect brother’s doctoral graduation, and I can’t suffer through another round of parental disappointment. Julian has to go to a charity function he planned with his ex-girlfriend. We both need a date. Yes, we shared one kiss in a darkened office to make his ex jealous. But it wasn’t real. Was it? I’m sure I can get through this. Until we get to the house and there’s only one bed. I’ve pined for Julian for three long years. More than my body is on the line…I need to guard my heart. Because if I get hurt in our fake relationship, then it serves me Wright.
A new stand alone fake relationship romance set in the world of the Wrights from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde.
REVIEW: Yes, yes, yes, this was definitely everything I wanted it to be! I’m so happy that K.A. Linde revisited the Wright series with A Wright Christmas at the end of last year! These new characters have been wonderful l to read about. I had a feeling that Jenn was going to be a really great female character from what we’ve seen of her in the last couple books, but she even exceeded my expectations! I like the realistic portrayal of the mental health condition she’s dealing with and how it plays out in different situations. I also appreciated the different family dynamics for both Jennifer and Julian. These dynamics play a part in who they are and how they interact with others. After everything that happened with Ashleigh in the last book I had a feeling she would be a little bit of a problem for Julian and Jennifer in this one as well. It was nice to see Jennifer grow and come more into herself while dealing with the Ashleigh throughout the story. Jennifer was just so relatable in many ways, even with the things about her that I didn’t connect with at all. There were just so many parts with her where I just sat there and said “yep, haven’t we all felt this way!” I think what I really loved too, is the connection between these two from the very beginning and how that is stable throughout the book even when things happen to throw them off course. I’m really excited to see what we get in the next Wright book, Wright Rival!

Helping her move on from her failed marriage, and create a new life, sounds like a perfect distraction. So when he needs a new roommate, he invites Anna to begin her new life with him. Although their lives may have been put on pause, together they just might find a way to heal.
Pause, an all new emotional friends-to-lovers standalone romance from New York Times bestselling author Kylie Scott is available now!
REVIEW: I LOVED Repeat, the first Larsen Bros Book, so when I saw Leif was getting a book I knew I had to pick it up. Getting to know Leif and she what he experienced during his brother’s story made me so excited for him t get his HEA. And I really, really wanted to like this book. Unfortunately, there were just elements in it that I do not like in a romance. If I had known this going in, I would have just skipped it! The setup for this book was really interesting though. Anna and Leif are in a car accident, where Anna ends up in a coma. Leif reads to her in the hospital, but gets sent away by the cheating husband at some point. They end up starting a friendship, which is kind of comical, because they are so different from one another. And then things go a little haywire for me. They become roommates, he rejects her advances, they date other people… Yep. Not my cup of tea at all. I like loyalty between character even when they aren’t official. Obviously, this is a personal issue and many readers will not have this problem with this story line. What I do know is that both of these characters deserved the happiness they eventually find with each other! I hope you enjoy this book and don’t have my hangups. He only wants to help, but everyone in his life sees through his façade. It’s hard to know what’s real or fake when their private moments turn intimate. When they cross the line and fall between the sheets, the truth is undeniable. Just as they feared, their friendship’s no longer the same. However, one thing’s certain—there’s no going back now.
Kissing the cowboy is Book 5 in the Circle B Ranch Series! Kissing the Cowboy is a complete stand-alone and can be read without reading any of the other books or spin-off series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect. Suggested for mature readers only.
REVIEW: Well, Ethan was an absolute delight. Seriously, SWOON. The way he cares for and supports Harper is a damn dream. Him and Harper has been friends their entire lives, so they’ve shared almost everything with one another. Well, EXCEPT those pesky feelings they’ve both developed for one another. It’s always interesting as the reader having the insight that both characters are totally in love with each other, yet not having any way to help them along. You just have read and see the wild journey they go on to figure it all out. And I do love a good fake relationship romance, let me tell you! Plus, Harper is a great female character. She’s so driven! Romance reads like these are great, because you know the characters belong together. They deserve that HEA and it’s fun watching them find it.

This is Book 3 in the Campus Nights series!
REVIEW: THIS SERIES! I have honestly loved EVERY SINGLE BOOK in the Campus Nights series from Rebecca Jenshak. Each couple is so unique in their issues, but so real, and so good for each other. Rhett and Sienna are so stickin’ cute. Something I love about Rebecca Jenshak’s books is that I can be laughing my butt off in one chapter, and then clutching my heart with all the emotions I’m feeling in the next. And I do have to say the beginning this book had me laughing pretty hard! I’ve been so curious about Rhett this whole time because we met him in the previous books. He’s in this weird long distance relationship that isn’t a great one and the guys don’t exactly support. From what little glimpses we get of him, I also got this impression of him being a very sweet and loyal guy, but really getting him to know him in this book was so much better! The first interactions he has with Sienna are hilariously awful. But the progression of them together had me very, very invested. Sienna was a very interesting character, because we get to see her later on in her growth where she has a great maturity and handle on her situation. Everything she’s dealt with, and is still currently dealing with health-wise, really made her fascinating. We don’t get to see her growth as much, but she still pulls you into the story. I also really enjoyed her friendship with Silas. What the friendship is built on and how they were there for each other in a way only they could was heartwarming. Silas has one of the quotes that I love the most:
“Do you want to know what makes me and Sienna so close? What makes any two people close, I’d wager?” I don’t respond, but he keeps going. “Going through challenging shit together. Being vulnerable and letting the other person see all your fucked-up-ness…” There’s a little more, but I don’t want to spoil it anything!
It’s also really awesome to see the couples from the last two books! I think what I love the most about series that have standalone books is that you get the complete story in one book, but you get to revisit the characters throughout the other books. It makes me feel like there’s this group of people that you’re really invested in and you really want to see them get their happy ever afters! And not only do you get to see them get their happy ever after, you then get to see them living their happy ever after while their friends are on their own personal journey. Not only are the couple stories amazing, but also how the whole friend group is supportive of each other. They all experience major ups and downs, but their friends have their backs. The thing about Rebecca‘s books is that while she can definitely have you laughing your butt off, she also covers the real issues that people deal with on differing levels. Sometimes those issues are super emotional and you need the help of your friends and family to get through it. The characters in this one are just so great! I appreciate all of the side characters in different ways, and I’m definitely looking forward to learning more about Maverick and Dakota as the series continues!

From New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaels comes a heartbreakingly beautiful standalone story about letting love in.
REVIEW: In true Corinne Michaels fashion, we have another book that rips the emotions right out of you. Serenity was a character with such depth–her journey is heartbreaking in such a real way. With her and Westin both being doctors, there are a lot of questions about right and wrong in life and their professions. There is just so much going on is this one, and honestly, I’m still processing all the different layers. I would definitely recommend this one to those readers that want to feel everything and work for the HEA!

SYNOPSIS: Lucky. The one adjective used to describe my entire hockey career. I prefer to call it hard work, at least I did until my game went to complete crap. I haven’t scored in eight games and my team owner is talking about trading me. I’ve never believed in superstitions. Never needed one. I suppose I was “lucky” in that way. But now the best way to refer to me is desperate. I’d wear the same socks for an entire year just to be the high-scoring center I used to be. Imagine my surprise when after spending New Year’s Eve with a woman, I score a hat trick in the next game—that’s three goals in one game for you non-hockey lovers. Now, I have to track her down and bribe her to do it again before every game. Get your mind out of the gutter, I’m not talking about it. I find her and when I get to know her better, I end up spending more time thinking about her than my game, but she’s made it clear she wants no part of me. She’s going to learn that I didn’t become a professional hockey player without having to fight for what I want.
This is Book 1 in Piper Rayne’s new hockey series, Hockey Hotties!
REVIEW: This book was very cute! The superstition aspect was so intriguing, and what Aiden thought he needed to make him better was hilarious!!! I think my favorite part was the friendship that developed between Aiden and Saige. It was really sweet and made me feel like they did belong together. The connection and chemistry between these two pulled me right in. Saige has a messy dating past and I think her hangups were very valid. That being said, Aiden’s agent, who she is dating in the beginning of this book totally should’ve set off her radar like any athlete would. And although Aiden was very aware and attempted to be respectful of their relationship, I think his flirting/comments pushed past the line a few times. As the reader you know more about what is going on and that definitely helped me stay on team Aiden and Saige.
It was absolutely wonderful to see the happy little moment for Frankie, Jax, and Jollie from A Co-Worker’s Crush, since Frankie and Aiden are cousins. Many of the side characters were pretty great, and I am definitely interested to see where the series goes! Maksim’s book, The Trouble with #9, is next and it sounds like it’ll be a wild ride. Ford‘s book has all the makings to be a favorite for me, so I cannot wait for that one! I do love me some hockey hotties.

Jock Royal is Book 4 in the Jock Hard Series and available in Kindle Unlimited!
REVIEW: Sara Ney has been coming in HOT with new book boyfriend material lately. And let me just tell you, this is by far my most favorite of the Jock Hard series. I fell hard for Ash and Georgia. Seriously, I could not put this book down and it pulled me right out of the book slump I was in! I always go into Sara Ney’s books without reading the synopsis, so this book took a couple turns I was not expecting (in the best way). Seriously, I loved every single minute! Ash is definitely book boyfriend material. The way he is with Georgia, even when he’s a little clueless, just made me smile. And Georgia is a total peach! She is adorably sweet in her pursuit to redeem herself after that horrific first impression she had on him–let’s just say this isn’t a meet cute for them. I just had so much fun seeing their relationship morph and grow as they became closer–literally because, roommates, ya know? Haha. Anyway, my point is GO READ THIS BOOK! Hot rugged rugby player with an accent who is caring and giving, do I need to sell you on this anymore?!
I am lucky enough to be on Sara Ney’s ARC Team and have reviewed this book with honesty in exchange for an early copy!
