SYNOPSIS: Back in her hometown of Ruby Falls, Aria Heart is determined to find herself and the happiness that has always felt just out of reach. Something that would be a lot easier to do if her parents weren’t so close by, reminding her just why she left town as soon as she could, and if the house she just purchased wasn’t already giving her problems. Just when Aria starts to second guess her decision, Tide Goodman knocks on her door and shoves his way under her defenses. Is it possible that the happiness she’s been searching for is attached to a man like Tide, the guy she crushed on in high school who didn’t even seem to know she existed? A man with an adorable daughter and baggage of his own? In order to find out, she’ll have to put everything, including her heart, on the line one more time.
This is book 2 in the Ruby Falls series, but can be read as a standalone.
REVIEW: This one was exactly what I expected from an Aurora Rose Reynolds book! The main characters just click and are great together. They have their issues, but they talk them out, so I sincerely appreciated how their relationship developed. With a HEA that made me smile so big, I really fell for both of these characters throughout this story. They’re both dealing with some toxic people, Aria more than Tide, but with each other things get a little better. While the characters deal with real issues, there isn’t any over the top drama, which was exactly what I wanted. One of the things I sincerely enjoy about Aurora Rose Reynolds books is the devotion the characters have to each other, it makes everything they deal with bearable. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!

Aurora Rose Reynolds is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author whose wildly popular series include Until, Until Him, Until Her, Underground Kings and Shooting Stars. Her writing career started in an attempt to get the outrageously alpha men who resided in her head to leave her alone and has blossomed into an opportunity to share her stories with readers all over the world.
SYNOPSIS: Some women always get it right. Kindergarten teacher, Meg Thompson, on the other hand, consistently makes the wrong decisions — and she is currently single, pregnant and alone. Meg is determined to make changes in her life, to be a better mother than her own had been. No revolving door of men. No man, period. Just a single-minded focus on her baby. Her resolution would be easier to keep if not for hot cop, Scott Dare. He insinuates himself in her life, making Meg want to believe in happily ever after, even if history has taught her to know better. When Scott Dare hears Meg’s friends are determined she have a night of hot sex, before her life changes forever, he decides that man must be him. Their one night is mind blowing and life altering. And Scott, a man already burned by his ex-wife, finds himself all in anyway. While protecting Meg from her violent ex and becoming part of her increasingly complicated life, he’s falling hard and he can’t seem to find distance. Not when their bodies respond to each other with such heated intensity and he’s drawn to her unique combination of strength and vulnerability. But Meg’s future is one Scott has accepted he’ll never have, even if his growing feelings say otherwise …
REVIEW: This is some old school alpha romance. I’m a sucker for a pregnant lead with a horrible baby daddy and a man that comes in ready to love her and her unborn child like his own. Unfortunately, Scott Dare has some hangups he needs to work through, so while I liked him at times, I also wanted to smack him for adding stress and heartbreak to Meg’s already difficult life. Luckily, between the romantic suspense and the HEA, I ended up enjoying this one overall. If you like a good alpha protector, this one is for you.

SYNOPSIS: Blaire Gibson knows better than to have one-night stands. She prides herself on her decision-making skills. It’s the one asset that has never let her down. But even the best thinkers have weaknesses. Hers is a delicious business mogul with a quick tongue. Unfortunately for her, that tongue is good for more than just talking.
Holt Mason doesn’t need to justify anything to anyone. He wants Blaire. He pursues Blaire. And he gets Blaire because that’s how his life works. Until it doesn’t. What begins as a single night in a hotel room spirals into an unusual agreement. As late nights provide the space to trade secrets and walls come tumbling down, more is shared than just pillow talk.
They both should’ve known better. They should’ve shown restraint. Because when guards are dropped, hearts get hurt.
REVIEW: I just love Adriana Locke’s romances and this one was no different! Blaire Gibson is the sister of the Gibson brothers in The Gibson Boys series, so it’s fun to start off with that little connection and get to see glimpses of previous characters. Blaire and Holt’s chemistry is sooooo good and I was living for their banter. Holt is a total alpha and it was interesting to see how Blaire reacted to and handled him. I love that they are similar when it comes to work, work and more work, but their families are still very important to them. Meddlesome siblings are so fun! Anyway, I enjoyed this one and I’m excited to see what comes next.
