4.5 STARS Release Date: June 9, 2021 SYNOPSIS: When the person you blame for your grief is the only one who can save you from the pain… Tank Wicked lost his sister and has since vowed to save everyone else in his path. He lives by the creed of the Dark Knights motorcycle club, sworn to protect and respect his community. He selflessly saves lives as a volunteer firefighter and treats the men and women who work for him at his tattoo shop like family. But life isn’t a balance scale where good deeds negate bad things to come, and one foggy night life guts Tank once again. When a car careens over the side of a bridge and into a river, Tank springs into action, plunging into the water to rescue the passengers. Four people go into the river, but only three come out alive. Leah Yates is just trying to make it through each day. When the man she blames for her grief becomes the only one who can pull her from the depths of despair, she discovers that even hope comes at a price. Maybe this time she won’t have to face it alone.
The THE WICKED AFTERMATH is an emotionally gripping story of love, loss, and hope, with a rich and entrancing happily ever after. Set on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, the Wickeds feature fiercely protective heroes, strong heroines, and unbreakable family bonds. If you think bikers are all the same, you haven’t met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. Some of the Wickeds’ love stories will be hilariously fun and deeply emotional, others will tear at your heartstrings and include injections of humor, but they will all leave you wishing you could climb between the pages and join them. All Wicked novels may be enjoyed as standalone romances.
REVIEW: This book was just so heartwarming and sweet! Tank is definitely a new book boyfriend. Something that really adds to the story are the different family dynamics between Leah and her small family, and the large Wicked clan. There’s just so much love and caring within them. The quirky little things make you really excited to learn about all of the characters. The connection between these two is so touching. I loved seeing Tank with Leah, but also with the girls! This book illustrates grief as a process. It’s interesting that it is grief that really connects both Tank and Leah. Overall, I really like the growth of the relationship and I loved seeing the small family that they formed! Also, the cover is hot as hell and I will definitely need to own a physical copy!

This roommates to lovers, single dad romance is book three in Nikki Ash’s emotional Finding Love Series!
REVIEW: We meet both of these characters in the previous book, and so I kind of thought I knew how their story would go, but I was pleasantly surprised by how different it went! The beginning of their relationship was perfection. I really loved how Chase and Georgia acted while around each other. The way Chase treats her as they got closer, was freakin’ adorable. Honestly, the way the relationship grew made me so happy. Their friendship was just so heartwarming. In true Nikki Ash fashion, the dramatic scenes may have caused a gasp or two. There is this part that’s just so true to human nature, where one of the characters takes out their own issues on the other while struggling with a horrific situation. I hated it and loved it, because it felt so real. And I think the aftermath of that horrible blowup was handled really well. The realness in this one just worked for me. It was also really cute seeing characters from the previous books in the epilogue! The on-going joke about Lexi’s cooking is still hilarious. If you’re looking for romances that pull at the heartstrings, this is the series you’re looking for!

SYNOPSIS: Settled in the tranquil remoteness of the Scottish Highlands, Ardnoch Estate caters to the rich and famous. It is as unattainable and as mysterious as its owner —ex-Hollywood leading man Lachlan Adair—and it’s poised on the edge of a dark scandal. After narrowly escaping death, police officer Robyn Penhaligon leaves behind her life in Boston in search of some answers. Starting with Mac Galbraith, the Scottish father who abandoned her to pursue his career in private security. To re-connect with Mac, Robyn will finally meet a man she’s long resented. Lachlan Adair. Hostility instantly brews between Robyn and Lachlan. She thinks the head of the Adair family is high-handed and self-important. And finding closure with Mac is proving more difficult than she ever imagined. Robyn would sooner leave Ardnoch, but when she discovers Mac is embroiled in a threat against the Adairs and the exclusive members of the estate, she finds she’s not yet ready to give up on her father. Determined to ensure Mac’s safety, Robyn investigates the disturbing crimes at Ardnoch, forcing her and Lachlan to spend time together. Soon it becomes clear a searing attraction exists beneath their animosity, and temptation leads them down a perilous path. While they discover they are connected by something far more addictive than passion, Lachlan cannot let go of his grip on a painful past: a past that will destroy his future … if the insidious presence of an enemy lurking in the shadows of Ardnoch doesn’t do the job first.
Here With Me is Book 1 in the new Adair Family Series!
REVIEW: I loved the underlying plot of the story. I didn’t know exactly what was going to ensue, which doesn’t happen often. The romantic suspense part definitely kept me guessing! I do like how well Samantha Young writes these emotionally charged characters and scenes. There is so much depth to all of these characters. It was such a weird mix of people, but in a really good way. The fact that the characters are all fairly close in age, even though that includes a dad and a daughter, also played into the fact that the dynamics were not typical and added a lot to the story. The connections and friendships were just so interesting. The pace did seem a little slow to me, but I just think this book was a little on the longer side and I might not have been in the mood for that. There was more than one big thing that happened, so I kind of thought I was at the end of the book a few different times. Luckily, I did really enjoy what happened and I am sincerely looking forward to finding out what happens to the rest of the characters in the next books! Especially Robyn’s Dad!!
