SYNOPSIS: Lincoln: I went from a penthouse to sleeping in a prison cell. From the VP of a million-dollar empire to a felon. All for a crime I didn’t commit. Now that I’m free, I vow to stay out of trouble. The only problem? She’s trouble wrapped in a bow. Cassidy: My type? Bad boys. Until my bad boy boyfriend got me arrested. I’ve moved to a new town and sworn off relationships. Until I meet him … my Prince Charming … fresh out of prison. Trouble and bad boys never felt so good … until it all falls apart.
REVIEW: I am just loving this series of interconnected standalones! And it’s so much fun to see the characters from the Blue Beech series popping up in this world as well. When I got see Cassidy meet Lincoln in the previous book I loved her attitude towards him. I could not wait to see how she pursued him and how they would feel about each other. They both have messy pasts, but I think it was perfect, like they were meant to be together. Cassidy is a force not to be reckoned with, which kind of reminds me of her sister Sierra from Just Roommates in the Blue Beech series. And Lincoln is totally swoon worthy! The way he is with Cassidy throughout the whole book makes him a total book boyfriend. I also like that he was the voice of reason for his brother, Archer, in the previous book. He’s got a great perspective and it really showed up a lot in his actions throughout his own story. Really, I just loved both of these two and I am glad we got their story. I think that book one, Stirred, will always be my favorite, BUT I am sincerely looking forward to book four, Chaser, with the teaser Charity Ferrell gave us at the end of this book.

SYNOPSIS: A see yourself out note isn’t how you want to celebrate the morning after your first one- night stand. The first time I meet Archer Callahan is when I block him in a parking spot. The second is a fender bender. The third is at a bar, drinking away our problems, and finding our way to his bed. I never expected to see him again. That changes when a month later, he’s introduced as my brother’s new business partner. In need of a job, I’m hired at their bar, much to Archer’s dismay. We hate each other. We’re off limits. But every time we’re together, flashbacks of that night shake through us. We push, we pull, until one of us breaks.
REVIEW: I need to start off by saying that I LOVED the first book in this series, Stirred. It was amazing and I could not wait for this second book in the series. We meet the main characters, Archer and Georgia, in book 1. They bicker a ton and you just know it’s because of the chemistry they’re trying to fight. Seriously, I couldn’t wait to find out what their story was! Unfortunately, I didn’t like the story that lead them to where we met them in book 1, it made me really dislike Archer. In the second half of this book, when I learned Archer’s reasons, I felt a little more open to him, but not enough. Obviously, this is completely a personal preference thing. I think the overall book was good, and I cannot wait for book 4 and 5 in the series! This friend group’s interactions are really interesting and I need to know what happens to them!
